BIOGRAPHY
After a challenging time of loss and numerous transitions, the Greater View family found a new pastor. Elder Stephen D. Glenn, Sr., was selected to serve as pastor-elect in 2019. He was called to ministry at the early age of 19, while serving as junior deacon at New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church, where Elder Raymond Caruthers is pastor. He has been preaching for 32 years. Elder Glenn served at varios churches. His most recent service was as an associate minister at Ephesians Primitive Baptist Church, where Elder Cornelius Hill is pastor.
In 2023, Elder Glenn was elected by the Cumberland Association of Primitive Baptist to serve as Vice President of Church School Convention. His charge is to set up and conduct educational classes and serve as support for the Convention president and his endeavors. On May 21, 2022, Elder Glenn was officially installed as pastor of Greater View Primitive Baptist Church. He is a husband, father, and a licensed professional in the transportation industry. He is a preacher, teacher, and a true servant for Christ.
